I have been working with the International Association for Digital Publications (IADP) for the past year.  On my trans-African bike ride I'm carrying a netbook to demonstrate IADP's software and the impact that access to academic eBooks can have in developing countries.

IADP is a not-for-profit organisation that was established in the UK in 2004. It is registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales (No. 1104592). IADP’s objectives are “to advance education and thereby relieve poverty, especially in developing countries, by facilitating the introduction and use of digital publications, and by related means”.  More details of IADP's programme can be found on my Charity page and on the IADP's website.

If you would like to donate to this worthy cause and help IADP buy netbooks for students in Africa, please visit my Justgiving webpage.

Thank you for supporting the efforts of the IADP.
