Shortly after graduating, Kevin was employed by IMC Consulting Ltd (now WYG International Ltd) in 2001 and returned to Moscow for another 15 months to work on EU-funded socio-economic development projects. In 2003 Kevin moved to Lugansk, Ukraine to join a UK Department for International Development-funded regional economic development programme where he stayed for 3½ years. During this time he completed MSc e-Business Management at the University of Surrey, commuting regularly to Guildford and graduating in 2004. Whilst based in Ukraine, Kevin undertook missions to Kosovo totalling 6 months to work on an EU-funded employment regeneration programme, and in 2005 he began visiting South Africa to support an EU-funded local economic development programme. In 2006, still with WYG International, Kevin relocated to Durban, South Africa to advise the KwaZulu-Natal provincial government on EU procurement for two years. Kevin spent a further two years in Durban working on a variety of EU-funded and other internationally-funded development projects focussed on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in education and e-Learning. On sabbatical from WYG in July 2010 Kevin began “Cape2Cape...by bicycle”, reaching Port Said, Egypt in December 2010. Since January 2011 Kevin has been based in London, UK.
