On 3 July 2010 Kevin David Brown began cycling from the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa, the most south-western point of the African continent. Cycling 12,603km (7,831 miles) through 10 countries, on 17 December 2010, Kevin reached the most north-eastern point of mainland Africa, the Mediterranean Sea at Port Said, Egypt. This website tracked Kevin's progress and experiences along the way through this map, blog, photos, YouTube channel and Facebook group. Throughout his journey Kevin raised funds for and the profile of the International Association for Digital Publications, a charity providing access to academic eBooks to students throughout African universities.
